Join Open Door Baptist Church Friday through Sunday, February 27-March 1, for our Family Conference. Our weekend sessions will focus on specifics of the family. On Friday night, Dr. Shoemaker will speak on marriage-building principles. Saturday morning’s sessions will be geared specifically on parenting. On Sunday, Dr. Shoemaker will address the family in general. Come early for refreshments each session. Childcare is available each service for infants through children 12 years of age. Speaker:
Dr. Charles Shoemaker has been encouraging couples and families for over thirty years by addressing large crowds, speaking to small groups, and counseling individuals. His communication style is inviting, often witty, personal, and simply practical. Dr. Shoemaker served as a college president for fifteen years and has an earned doctorate in educational leadership. He presently serves as the CEO of Church Planting America, giving him the opportunity around the world to build people in sound wisdom. He and his wife, Sharon, are the parents of two married daughters and have six grandchildren, including identical twins.
