Open Door Baptist Church’s annual missions conference starts this Wednesday, October 15, and goes through Sunday, October 19.  Our special guests include Evangelist Bro. Don Crosswhite and the Dinsmore family (missionaries to Guatemala), as well as the Waddington family with Rock of Ages Prison Ministry.All Southland Christian Academy students and families are invited and encouraged to come be part of this exciting event.  All SCA – students attending the conference on Thursday – Saturday will earn 5 bonus points per night.

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday, October 15-17, at 7:00 P.M. (Awana will begin at 6:30 on Wednesday.)
Thursday, October 16, Jimmy Dinsmore will present his families’ ministry to Guatemala.
Friday, October 17, Mark Waddington will present his families’ ministry with Rock of Ages Prison Ministry.
Saturday, October 18, at 3:00-5:00 P.M., we will have a “Missionary Birthday Bash.”
We will have a cookout dinner with lots of fellowship, Bro. Don Crosswhite will preach, and we will present our gifts to the missionaries.
Sunday, October 19, we will meet at 9:30 A.M. for Sunday School.  The 10:30 A.M. service will conclude the Missions Conference (we will not have a PM service)
During Sunday school, teen to adult ladies will meet in the auditorium, and teen to adult men will meet in the Fellowship Hall for a forum with our guests.
The worship service will conclude our Missions Conference, and remaining Faith Promise Missions giving commitments will be received.
