We are inviting you and your child to participate in the upcoming “Santa’s Secret Shop” at Southland Christian Academy December 8-11.  This program makes it possible for children to experience the joy of choosing their own special Christmas gifts for family and friends.

Santa’s Secret Shop will be set up at the school and supervised by parent volunteers and students in our senior business class.  They will help the children pick that perfect gift for the price they want in a familiar, comfortable atmosphere.  Classes will shop at scheduled times throughout the week. This program creates fun memories for the children while teaching them to budget their money and make their own decisions. Last year’s shop was a tremendous success with students of all ages enjoying their shopping time.

There will be a large variety of gifts in different price ranges to choose from. Items will be priced between $1 and $15.  Most items are available under $5.  Imagine the fun they will have surprising a loved one with a “secret” gift they bought…all by themselves!

A “money control” envelope has been sent home (along with this same information) for you to help them decide who they should buy gifts for and how much they should spend.  You may even want to suggest ways your child can earn some extra shopping money. (Cash or checks are accepted.  Please make checks out to SCA.)

The seniors and the business class are so excited to sponsor this program, and we can still use some helpers.  Please let us know if you would like to help our little ones shop next week from10:30-12!
